Position Overview

MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer III or IV to support the deployment, integration, administration, and sustainment of a secure AI as a Service (AIaaS) environment leveraging the AETHER AI platform.

This is an AI infrastructure and platform engineering position—not an AI/ML development role. The engineer will work across compute, virtualization, storage, operating systems, networking, NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, containers, and enterprise services.

Required Technologies

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, integrate, and maintain AI infrastructure across compute, storage, virtualization, and operating systems.
  • Administer NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, including drivers, CUDA, NCCL, GPU allocation, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Deploy and support containerized AI services using Docker, Kubernetes, K3s, OpenShift, or Rancher.
  • Integrate AI services with enterprise storage, networking, authentication, and identity systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, GPU, container, operating system, and platform issues.
  • Support AI workload deployment, workflow orchestration, testing, production rollout, and operational readiness.
  • Develop technical documentation, SOPs, system diagrams, and configuration documentation.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, AI, and platform engineering teams to support secure government environments and RMF requirements.

Qualifications

Systems Engineer III

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or systems engineering experience.
  • Hands-on VMware, Linux/Windows, enterprise storage, and container experience.
  • Strong infrastructure troubleshooting and networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Systems Engineer IV

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant systems/infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership of infrastructure integration, modernization, deployment, or sustainment efforts.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex enterprise environments.

Preferred

  • Current DoD Secret or higher clearance.
  • Federal/DoD experience.
  • Hands-on NVIDIA DGX/GPU experience.
  • CUDA/NCCL experience.
  • Kubernetes/OpenShift/K3s/Rancher administration.
  • RMF, security hardening, system accreditation, or operational readiness experience.
  • Python, PowerShell, or infrastructure automation experience.
  • AI, HPC, simulation, or other GPU-intensive workload experience.
